PRN ALUMNI IN THE NEWS
NOW AVAILABLE
Exclusive 90+ minute PRN Alumni panel recorded in April 2018 at a University of Minnesota symposium entitled “Prince from Mpls”.
In April 2018, the University of Minnesota held a three day Symposium entitled “Prince from Mpls”...
Scholars from around the world presented papers on Prince’s cultural, spiritual, racial, sexual, musical and philanthropic impact on the world, and specifically his hometown of Minneapolis in a free to the public event.

PRN Alumni Foundation was invited to speak on our experiences of what it was like working with Prince.
We organized a panel discussion bringing the voices of seven alumni in a variety of tenures and job capacities to discuss how Prince inspired us to do things we didn’t think were possible, often in very short periods of time, with excellence.
Discover the answers to these questions and more...
  •  Did Prince really stay awake for 4 days straight? Could anyone ever outlast him?
  • What “being ready” really meant for a member of Prince’s staff..
  •  How he made us want for ourselves, the kind of high level of excellence he demanded of himself..
  •  How did having a boss with such high expectations for greatness create obstacles that ultimately benefitted us in our careers?
  •  That Prince’s philanthropic vision is as long as his career, and how his vision of helping others inspired us to continue his mission on our own.

PRN Alumni Foundation, officially formed in 2017, is comprised of former employees of Paisley Park and the international icon Prince. The group’s mission is to continue the generosity of their late boss who supported opportunities for underprivileged youth to grow in music, tech, arts and education, and helped alumni members in crisis.
The foundation also supports urban farming initiatives that create sources of healthy foods where they are otherwise scarce.
